Happy Monday

Steve is back wearing suits each day. I love that the clerk in Banana Republic came up to me and said, 'I bet you need some help with shopping' I did and he was super helpful in finding a look that Steve loves. Then, he asked me 'what about you can I direct you to the ladies section.' I declined today (I'd just found my bargain at AT)but I'll be back with his helpfulness.
He starts his new job today and we are so grateful. Let's face it - health benefits are so important and I was appalled to learn how difficult it is to get health coverage as individuals - not on a group plan. I know that's another topic but it is troubling to be denied coverage simply because you have an eye disease. I had the funniest conversation with a lady who was interviewing us for insurance ... I said, I have Retinitis Pigmentosa but I'm really healthy. She said what are your symptoms ... I'm just going blind - is that the only symptom - yes, please give me health insurance. (Couldn't she even laugh a little) before she stamped - denied!

I totally understand your frustrations with the health insurance...it's just ridiculous!
