My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Puppy Party

This afternoon with our friends, Rod and Connie & Morton, we were invited to the Utah Foundation for the Blind's puppy party. Before the event, we stopped for lunch. I ordered one of my favorites ... chicken bbq pizza with a really crispy crust.
This activity was to be an opportunity for children who are blind and their families to learn more about guide dogs, the puppies in training and the K-9 program. We were guessing there was about 30 dogs in the auditorium today!
Oh I love this girl!
Isn't this a fun sight to see all these dogs on the floor. It was so fun to see Lindsey, McKell (welcome home!), and meet Sarah and her new puppy in training.

Cricket - the snuggle bug that likes to be nearby.

Morton is such a fabulous guide ... Cricket thinks he's pretty cute too.

Have you tried Gelato before? It is SO yummy. We ended our evening with Gelato. I think we'll be back for more. I can't think of many desserts or treats I don't like.
