We're not quite ready for spring shoes yet ... although I'm getting excited to make the switch. This sweet older lady came and sat down by me in church. Cricket was looking at her intently - you know with her piercing beautiful eyes. This lady said, oh Cricket likes my purple dress (my clue - she was wearing a purple dress) to which I replied - I hear purple and yellow are two of the new spring colors this year ... She said - I wear purple with everything - year round!

As I get eager for spring to come each year ... I usually try to wear clothes/shoes that don't quite work yet! The case today, I wanted to wear my Greece dresss, with the bag from Turkey, and needed sandals to go with it. Its a quick walk to church but forgot about all the puddles on the sidewalk that I have been encouraging Cricket to walk through while I am in boots! Yikes, in sandals = wet feet. She wondered why I let out a squeal when wait a minute she hadn't wanted to do it earlier in the year but I had encouraged it. I think I got what I asked for.

Oh, I'm so ready for spring too!!! :)
Spring is coming, but not soon enough for me. I tried to wear a cotton shirt the other day & I froze to death. It's still 'sweater weather' around here in Oregon.
