Blah, blah, blah

Blah - I am tired of winter ... Steve job searching ... and the routine. Then, today Lifeline had a total change of plans and here I am with my afternoon free. I'm going to get on the sweats (I'm just more productive & comfortable ) and clean and do much needed bookkeeping work for my office. I have some projects for work I am excited about ... this little time may give me the opportunity to do so if I can get out of the blahs and get something done! I did have so much fun connecting with a friend, Jane, today for lunch. I love her and excited for her future endeavors ... she has a beautiful voice and write songs ... more details to follow!

I have a question ... Does anyone else have random 'rules' of fashion that float around in there head. (Like don't mix black and brown - match your purse with your shoes ...) I sometimes rely on those quirky 'rules' as I don't have a visual although I also love to wear fun and different outfits. So, the concept of red/pink don't go together ... where did that come from and is it true? I asked Steve this morning if this matched and he said - yes, its the week of Valentine's Day! Okay...

Red and pink is a very popular color combo these days. You look perfectly appropriate in what you are wearing.

thank you for posting on my son Ezra's blog. my husband just read me your post. The funny thing is that we have read your blog before as there is a link to it on our Seattle Guide Puppy website. Ezra liked to read some of your posts and follow along with cricket's life as a guide dog. He loved seeing the photos especially! We are raising our second guide puppy. Our first puppy Beckley didn't make it and has become our beloved family pet. One day reading something you wrote on your blog reminded me so much of our Beckley. He attended church with us every week and we always thought he was the smartest dog in the world because with so many different "amens" going on in a mormon service, he always knew which amen ended the service and he would jump up from a deep sleep in a split second. fondly yours, from Seattle, Ezra's mom - kandice

My mother introduced me to the fashion 'rules; 'no pink and red together' back in 1960. Then she bought a pink and red sleeveless blouse with hearts on it. So much for the unruly combinations.
Good topic.
I love mixing plaids and patterns and odd colors and many shades of grey.
Ooh, and let's heap the jewelry on.
Do you remember a counting game when each item of apparel got a point, two if there was ornate buttons or an applique? You COULD NOT exceed 21. Ha. . . .
