Thank you to our Veterans...

Steve had Veteran's Day off today (the life of a banker can be good - and not so good these days!) and was able to accomplish some of 'my to do list.' I'm remembering my father-in-law today ... he was such a wonderful man.
He was a pilot of a B-24 of a eight man crew.
Steve added his thoughts: Dad was a highly decorated Captain and bomber pilot during WWII. He bombed some of the most protected areas of europe such as oil refineries and railroad yards. In spite of having his plane shot up several times with holes through the wings big enough to climb through and controls knocked out, he always returned safely and never lost a crew member in spite of the fact that on several of his missions over a third of the planes never made it back to base. Thanks Dad for fighting for our freedom. Thanks to all veterans everywhere ...

Thanks for you thoughts Steve. Yes, we need to be reminded to thank all of our veterans on this special day.
