No more heels (as in high) NOT "Cricket, heel" for us

I have some black pants that need to be hemmed - so in an attempt to still wear them I wore higher heels.
NOT a good idea with a guide dog and lots of walking. About half-way through the day - having walked about a mile - the shoes were off and blisters had begun. We are going back to flats and getting our pants hemmed - unless anyone has a better suggestion?

Aw mom! I'm sorry! I hate my flats -- they rub my feet wrong -- let's trade!

Okay, Natalie! I think that is reason enough for me to fly down and visit and bring my heels to you, don't you think!!

I can't imagine walking with a guide in high heels!! I walked with one in tennis shoes, and it was hard enough!

Sorry your shoes aren't working for you though :( That sucks.

Hahaha... I can totally relate! I wore heels the other night and kept telling Coral "STEADY!!!" She didn't quite understand why I wanted to go slow because I usually praise her for picking up speed. By the time I got home, my feet were hurting so bad... However, I had to wear the same shoes to work the next day for my new pants, which were too long for my Japanesey figure... Geez I can never win!!!

You need to buy petite length only. I used to spend alot of time hemming my pants since everything was too long. Now, I stay in the petite lengths & I get a perfect fit. Even if I have to spend a bit more, I refuse to buy regular length pants.
I wore slip on sandals the other day, that I had not worn in quite some time. I was walking alot that day & ended up with 4 blisters on one foot & 3 blisters on the other foot. I spent the last hour carrying my shoes, my feet hurt so bad. I feel your pain, girlfriend.

Thanks, girls! Glad you feel my pain! These were petite pants, Debi -- I agree that is usually a way to avoid hemming.

Watch the petite pants because they are shorter in other places as well!!!

Evaluation of heel height is always the first thing I look at when shopping with Sharon for shoes. I can tell you she feels your pain as well!!!
