My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

I try to get excited about exercising but struggle with finding something indoors that I love to do on a regular basis. Cricket is helping me with my enthusiasm! Right now I am on about a 2-week consistent routine of the elyptical, etc. I laugh that Cricket has figured out my routine of going downstairs to exercise ... is it my saying 'oh, guess i've got to do it' with a loud sigh that she recognizes, or the shoes I put on? but she gets all excited and runs downstairs and sits by the machine ... ready to cheer me on while she lays there. What's wrong with this picture? She is so funny and has such a cute little personality. I remembered a year ago when she was a young 2 year old she used to chase the pedals on the exercise bike.
