Spread a little kindness ...

Today Cricket and I spent the day at the School for the Deaf and Blind -- we were invited to share some of our ideas on Resiliency traits. I left learning much more from this wonderful group of 14-17 year old students who were blind or visually impaired than the other way around. They left impressions in my heart of their warmth, kindness and appreciation for the simple things in life. Thanks to each of them for their example and resilient spirit! I know they will each go far in their lives and I look forward to seeing them again soon. Their strength, abilities and sense of humor were inspiring!

Kindness is the language which deaf can hear and blind can see.

Becky--today I added a link to your blog to our webpage www.guidepupseattle.org . Cricket's puppy raiser, Kim, was kind enough to share it with me. The members of Guide Puppies of Seattle gave moral support and training tips to Kim and Scott as they raised your future guide dog. Bless you for giving Cricket such a fun, loving home and for sharing your view of the world with us. --Heidi (leader, Guide Puppies of Seattle)
