RP Girls Trip

I have many friends who also have Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP).  Early on Steve and I became involved in various organizations and have loved the lifelong friendships formed.  We have gone through the journey together -- sharing tips and ideas on the latest technology that is helpful, supporting one another through the adjustments, and mostly forming friendships and having fun together! I spent the past few days with two of these dear friends, Kay and Jacque. We decided to stay at Jacques's home in sunny Arizona. The weather was gorgeous and fun for Kay (from Nebraska) and me from Utah to soak up the warmth and sunshine!

Cheers to -- we think 21 years of friendship
Loved the experience of going outside and picking an orange from the tree for breakfast!  We were laughing so hard as they were trying to find me to take the picture!
Their guide dogs had such a great time and were great friends.  Missed my Cricket girl ...
We visited the beautiful Desert Botanical Gardens - Chihuly exhibit.  We had an AMAZING guide that described the experience.  Such a delightful day.
Of course, pedicures and manicures!
Both Kay and I are licensed therapists so we also enjoyed listening to a webinar one afternoon by Jacque's pool.   Nice way to work :).

The kindness shown to us by people throughout this journey (and each day) is truly inspiring.
