My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Oasis Center for Grief - Run for Resilience

A big thank you to all who helped our first 5K for the Oasis Center for Grief! The weather was beautiful! The support was incredible - family, Oasis Team, and interns. We worked hard! The result was an awesome morning with walkers/runners coming together. You will see much more from Oasis Center. In my spare time :), I have lots and lots of ideas for this nonprofit and an incredible team with the same mission and passion!
Thank you to my incredible family.  Such supporters in all I do -- Cricket in the corner :)!!
Oasis Center for Grief Team
Melanie and I were very fortunate to have some incredible interns this semester.  They worked so hard and we so appreciate them!!

Our balloon launch was beautiful.  Thank you Tyler who led this experience. He invited all for a moment of silence to pause: remember their loved one or another grief - trial they are experiencing in life.  Next, we had a moment of loudness -- cheering - celebrating before we ran.  It was a beautiful experience.
You can find more on our facebook page:  Resilient Solutions, Inc. and Becky Peterson Andrews.  Soon, Oasis Center for Grief will have its own facebook page and logo and website.  So much to do!  The mission statement of Oasis Center for Grief: to offer support, education, and provide resources to individuals, families and communities who are grieving or facing other life challenges resulting from a loss.
