Sweet Cricket

Cricket is sitting by my feet - then standing by me whimpering as she recovers from the anesthesia tonight. Sweet girl. Hopefully tomorrow she will feel a lot better. Love this girl so much.  She has another incision on the other side of her and also had a mass in her mouth that they removed along with two teeth.  We will find out next week the status of the mass in her mouth.
Love you Cricket.  Love the life lessons you teach me each day.  I missed you deeply today when I went to walk out after getting my hair cut.  To you, I would say - Cricket find the door and we would quickly be outside and on our way back to the office.  Instead alone with my cane, I searched and eventually found the door (a little awkward).  I miss you for your amazing mobility but I also missed you for the connection I feel for you by my side.  I am grateful to have work that you can join with me even in your recovery.

Dear Becky
Oh this has given me such a fright! The angst and pain when it comes to surgical procedures is something quite indescribable
I do hope that the prognosis for Cricket is good and that she will heal up real soon. What a star she is...my prayers will be with you and her during this recovery period.
Sending lots of love to you and cuddles to dear Crickers.

Oh I hope cricket heals well. It's tough to handle a pet illness. I hope she is back in the harness, happy and healthy soon.
