Analogy of the Puzzle Pieces

I have thoroughly enjoyed the students that have worked as interns in our office.  I have learned much from them!  It was a special surprise to arrive to work with a sweet note from Lauren (love her - she was in our office a couple years ago), a lovely puzzle in a frame and the following note:

Analogy of the Puzzle Pieces

Each life represents the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.  For some the pieces seem to fit together easily, as if they were born with a nearly completed puzzle.  For others there are more disparate pieces, making it much harder to assemble.  But one thing is constant; no matter how many pieces a person has, no one has all the pieces of their puzzle within themselves.  They will have to find the pieces they lack through their relationships and interactions with others.

Each person carries at least one-- and probably many -- pieces to someone else's puzzle.  Sometimes they know it, and sometimes they don't.  I know that you carried an essential piece of my puzzle, and that we were supposed to make a connection in this life.

Who are some of the pieces to your puzzle?  I can tell you it feels so special to be remembered and thanked :).  It made my day and I will treasure this sweet note and puzzle in a frame!
