Smile

Natalie and I went shopping yesterday for a dress for the big trip to New York City in a few weeks!!!   We enjoyed pizza at CPK - brussel sprouts, bacon and feta cheese.  It sounded intriguing! It was actually very yummy especially as we topped it off with a hot fudge sundae.  The waitress decided we looked like each other ... yay!

We found a dress at Nordstroms that I am so excited about as well as a skirt and top at Ann Taylor!  You know you've got to get a new outfit for special events :).

Favorite comment overheard - that lady is blind and she can't walk!  I smiled - what can I say - it is true.  Let's just say I'm determined when it comes to shopping!

Its been a lovely conference weekend.  During the break, we went to one of our favorite places to go for a walk.  Unfortunately, my walking was short lived.  After a few minutes, I sat on the bench and sent Steve and Cricket on their way to enjoy a walk.

Cricket was so happy.  Steve had just said - there's Becky and so she was making a beeline to greet me :).  I love when she smiles.
Kids said dinner was one of my best ... wow, I'll take it - even though Steve did most of it :).  Life is a team effort.

I'm so glad your foot feels better in the brace. It is disappointing that you cannot run in the upcoming marathon. But, as you say, there will be others. Meanwhile, you have been given tons of "free" time. Maybe some rest, reading, and recuperation?
