Today was one of those days that didn't happen quite as planned. Can you relate :)? We got ready for our run and started out and the snow was coming down so hard we returned back (Crazy - its March ... oh wait, its March in Utah this happens.) and went downstairs to the ellyptical. Change happens. I started working on my crazy day schedule with rides. Amongst a full day/evening at the office I had a hair appointment scheduled in there. It was one of those days where even the cab driver said - sorry not available! So, I cancelled my hair appointment :(. I reflected on my discussion with a client last night as we discussed: feelings have one ambition - to be felt. I felt a little frustration of not hopping in the car and then let it go. After all, what could I do but embrace my day and not worry about my hair! I spent the day/evening at my office being reminded by client after client of what is important in life. Hug those you love. Be kind to yourself and those around you. It was a day of clients grieving where I was reminded of what is important in life literally hour after hour.
My ride home asked me how I managed my work. I told her I was inspired each day by my clients that remind me to value and appreciate the gift of life each day.
This picture below is with our dear friends, Steve and Debi in Zions National Park. Time together with family and friends enjoying and appreciating life is amazing! Thank you to each of you who cheer me on in writing this blog. Someone recently said - I read your blog and it gave me hope. I was shocked ... really? And then if so, motivated to keep rambling :). Thank you for inspiring me!

The list you have given is so much more important than a hair appointment. And for the record, MOM and I enjoy your blog very much. Even if we do not have time to comment we read it each time you post. MOM says we actually might get to meet you at the Ogden Marathon. I am personally very excited about this. If ya hear a loud bark as you cross the finish line that just might be me.
Blessings,
Goose
Rats! I wish I lived nearby so I could give you a ride to hair appointments and such. I know that when I need a haircut, I NEED a haircut! I hope you can reschedule soon and that it will go more smoothly.
You are such a positive person; your blog is a great read for people like me that sometimes struggle to see the silver lining (or even the obvious entire silver cloud). Keep on writing! I had to comment on this one because we went to Zion a few years ago and loved it. Were you able to feel any of the "hoodoos" that people had set up (piles of rocks)?
