A delightful day

I spent the morning at a wonderful conference where I had the opportunity to present. It was also a fun chance to wear my polka dot blouse that I love :). As a thank you, the conference organizers gave me a fun basket with goodies and a frame with this quote:

Acts of Christian kindness will sweeten and nourish the world with the life-sustaining nectar of faith, hope and charity. Elder M. Russell Ballard

We returned home and the sun was shining! I put on some comfy clothes and have loved having the afternoon to dig in the dirt. We still have snow in the front yard ... crazy! Dinner with some friends tonight.

Marathon Journey Update: My legs just reminded me that we ran 13 miles on Friday. This week our big run will be 15 miles on Thursday morning before staff meeting and then dear friends coming into town (SO EXCITED!!!!)

I hope you are having a delightful day as well :). Cricket nudged me to remind me that blogging about my 'delightful day' was not near as important as feeding her! That, of course, would make her day delightful!

Update - Steve and I had dinner with some good friends at Corbins in Layton. The manager said he donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind. We said thank you as two guide dogs sat quietly underneath the table.

You look great! Wish I could run that far! I ran a 1/4 of a mile the other day and was pooped! I jogged and walked the rest of the way :)

Becky you are too cute in that polka dot top and green sweater! I love it! And I loved hearing about your fun day. You live life to the fullest and every time I read your blog you inspire me to do the same. And oh how I wish I had your mad running skills! SO impressive! I will think of you next week while I am on the treadmill...struggling to jog three miles. :)

We often get that gentle nudge from Cabana, too. It seems like you are doing a lot of speaking lately. How do you do it all, Becky--amazing!

I'd love to hear about the conference and your activities in the yard. We'll swap garden stories!
