We're back

A friend said, I need to see a picture of you to know you are okay after your concussion. So, here we are:
We are covering up our bruised cheek with glasses. After a concussion, it is not uncommon to have sensitivity to light. I noticed this more today as we were able to go for a walk. A trail that I would normally run was tiring to walk. The electrical box (that I ran full force and was knocked out) fortunately had no sharp edges so I didn't have any cuts - just a nice black/blue cheek and a nice bump on my forehead. At this point, I'm told it looks like my mascara is down my cheek. I am getting my energy back. Yay. My spunk is returning :). Less headaches and nauseau. Hopefully, my mind will soon return as well.

Thank you for your incredible kindness. Isn't it amazing what a comment on a blog, an email, a note in the mail, a phone call or a visit from family and friends will do to lift our hearts. I know its helped me immensely this week. Thank you.
