Mom Thoughts

Our house feels very quiet this morning. After a few months of enjoying Natalie, Adam, and Dahlia staying with us they have moved into their new home.  We really loved their time here and this mom is very grateful they didn't move too far away!  I am so excited for them to enjoy setting up their house and making it their home.
This morning I am missing the pitter pat of this cute little pug.  I am missing seeing them off for their day - nighttime visits.  Cricket is looking around the house for her friends.

Kendall also was here for a longer weekend and returned back to school last night.

I feel so very fortunate to have some wonderful, thoughtful kids.  They do so many little/big things for me ... Kendall was reading the back of the recipe to me as we made rolls together ... Natalie was making sure I didn't trip over something as we were moving boxes.  They are now incredible adults that I feel so very grateful to call my friends.   They were my motivator years ago ... to keep going!  Love them so much.

We ran 7 miles today.  It felt great - countdown to the 1/2 marathon.

I am sure they will be very missed by you
BUT, as you said, at least they won't be moving too far away.

Love it. So sweet. I'm glad they didn't move too far for all your sakes! :) I know I love living close to my parents.
