Fashion Challenge

Winding down on our Winter Fashion Challenge .  Its a good distraction from shopping and also fun to rediscover items in my closet.  Today's challenge is Open to Interpretation - which if I understand right is recreating the outfit pictured.  Here is my version:

First, the turquoise skirt described would be a fun spring accessory.  All my skirts are pretty basic so I added my turquoise blouse. Ann Taylor Cable Knit Sweater (I love this sweater and have it in several colors - which isn't the most helpful. Being blind, I have found its challenging to have clothing or shoes the same style in different colors. I still do it often, though. I find something I like and think - I need one in cream, purple, red and black :). Turquoise blouse - random Van Huesen outlet last year. I remember when I was shopping for an outfit for Wasatch Woman Awards I was told to wear something in turquoise. I found this blouse to wear underneath my suit (which I ended up not wearing!) These pants are just a fun story! When we visited my parents in China seven years ago we visited a tailor!  I have a skirt and a jacket also that I still wear often and a fun dress.

Three girls at Wasatch Woman last year. It was a special day surrounded by people cheering me on.  Cool.  I have spent the year connecting with people from that event.  Very special and grateful for the experience.

Cricket had a long day yesterday.  Lots of time sleeping and chewing on her bone in the corner of my office.   Towards the end of the day a client asked her if she had gotten her walk for the day.  She tilted her head at the word walk.   I am so sorry Cricket.  Busy, full day/night.  Today we need to deliver some flyers during our break and that means a nice walk in the ... snow (:<).  Yesterday Steve dropped me off and asked my lunch plans ... none infact scheduled through lunch & dinner.  After a session midday there was lunch delivered from him.  Saved the day/night.  Ah, love him.
Happy Thursday!

I love reading the story behind the pieces of your outfit. The pieces look good on you.

I love buying clothes abroad because then you always have a fun story behind the item. The pop of color from your blouse captures the inspiration perfectly!

Happy seeing beautiful!

It's a fact, you look good in anything! Colors are so fun. Connecting with friends is fun. Walking your dog is fun. Getting lunch from hubby is fun. Living life is just fun -- because you make it that way!
