Birthday "Weekend"
A birthday in January is nice - gives one something to celebrate in the cold weather after the holidays. The birthday celebration can begin when the card comes from my grandma who keeps on top of all our birthdays. We had some friends call and ask if we could start the birthday celebration weekend :). We enjoyed dinner, laughter, and celebrating a friendship of 20 years. Paul and I share the same eye condition - Retinitis Pigmentosa. We also enjoy as couples many of the same interests and so enjoy our time together. The sweetest card came in the mail from a dear friend that has been my friend for 44 years. I ran this morning (so awesome!) with a friend. The chatter warmed my heart and when we were at our turnaround point, I said, we're already there! This birthday I'm simply celebrating the gifts of good health, family and friends -- best gifts.

My Matthew was born in January (30th) and I loved it as it gave me something to look forward to do and keep me busy during the winter months....
then by spring, I was more up too getting out with that gorgeous handsome fellow.

I remember that cold January day long ago it seems when a beautiful baby girl came into our lives. She has and is everyday a great joy to so many and is loved greatly. See you Sunday
