2012 Journey

We spent the last four days or was it five in St. George?  The joys of getting away to St. George where Cricket sleeps in til 8 am and we lose track of the days! We enjoy going for a run in warmer temperature ... contemplate which movie to see(saw Sherlock Holmes and War Horse) ... decide where to go for brunch ... and simply enjoy time together with simple choices.  Bonus:  my parents were also down there so that was fun to get to spend time with them.

My favorite comment on the journey was a lady that noted how 'gentle' Cricket was as we walked by to be seated at a restaurant.  I smiled and agreed.  Then, we heard her continue to comment to her family about the gentleness and sweetness of that beautiful dog.  Indeed.  Someone also commented that she was looking old.  Oh not yet.  I'm still calling her my sweet puppy.

2012. What do I hope for? I hope for a simple year :) (ha, ha I know) perhaps the ability to gracefully surrender to what isn't simple. Creating simplicity has so many possibilities ... simplicity in fashion, simplicity in organization, simplicity in enjoying an evening with these two cute girls

Blog: Cruisin with Cricket?  I'm not sure its direction for the new year - any suggestions?  I know I hope for another great year to be guided and have joyful, cruisin days with my dear Cricket.

simplicity...now that's a GOOD IDEA.
of course Cricket would be gentle and kind...he is taking care of a special person. It's kinda like a heavenly assignement from above for him I think.

I like reading your blog - it's full of things to think about. So, don't change that part for 2012! Best wishes for health and happiness in this new year.

I love Simplicity, it cuts all the 'fat' off each day's (bone). I can really savor the succulent aspects of Grace in action.
I am chewing on what my word will be this year, I know I had one:)
