This picture describes Me!

You might draw a few conclusions from this picture? (For my fellow bloggers who are blind - it is a picture of a hair brush, mascara, and lipstick ... then about 4 inches away another hair brush, mascara, and lipstick).

What? Let's just say I got distracted and put together another set of my necessary items for the purse not seeing there was already a set there.   A good friend with Retinitis Pigmentosa calls it the 10 second rule.  If he searches for something for 10 seconds, can't find it, he let's it go.  Most of the time it turns up.   Most of the time it works out.  I think of his wisdom in other aspects of life, too. 

I'm a morning person.  I hop out of bed ready to go running and have my best ideas in the morning.  Challenge is sometimes I bounce from one thing to the next and then am searching for my purse or phone or hairbrush.
Whenever Cricket weaves me around something instinctively there is a moment of wow - that is incredible.  I have walked with a guide dog for 14 years now, and it does not stop being so very special.  Tomorrow is a date that has impacted my life.  I hope I can slow down from a busy weekend long enough to give it the post it needs! 

Brenda and I were running this morning and she instinctively pulled me around a hole in the road. We were chatting away and I had that same feeling of wow - that is incredible. I know in that moment, I didn't thank her. I will thank her on our next run.

A busy day with some new navigation places for Cricket.  I have full confidence in her with some yummy treats in my pocket for her great work.
