Smile

Last night Steve, Cricket and I went to Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat. We loved it.  I have been singing and dancing the tunes in my head today.  Great seating for Cricket.
A few funny sidenotes:  At the theater, this lady came up to me and asked me if I lived in Farmington.  It took me by surprise and I actually had to stop and think before I said, Bountiful.  Then, she said - oh I saw you at Dick's Market today and told my grandchildren that was a working dog and not to pet her :).  She was a little embarrassed about coming up to me.  I said, oh don't worry I don't know what you look like :).

Speaking of Dick's Market, the cashier asked me if I was training the dog.  I said no, I'm blind, my guide dog.   She said well you are walking around so well.  I said thanks to the dog!  I was the last one in line and so she asked if she could follow me outside to watch Cricket work.  Sure :).

Slowly, I am learning my ipad2 ... working on learning the voice over.  At the Apple Store we ran into a mom with her 15-year-old son that has Retinitis Pigmentosa.  She was so excited to meet someone with the same eye condition, and she said to me - You look so happy.  Yeah, most of the time.  Her son was not near as excited to meet me.

In the process of moving summer clothes out and fall clothes into the closet.  Some summer clothes I didn't wear all summer.  Should they be stored for next year or is that my message to pass them on?

thanks Becky now I am singing go go go Joseph you know what they say! One of my favorite musicals! You have such wonderful insights on your interactions with strangers. Today, a stranger asked me why Saxon has dew claws. Of all the things he noticed about me, the green jacket, the fact that I was in a store, the bait bag I was wearing - that was his one question - dew claws! I am not entirely sure what I said to answer him. :)

For some reason your comment about the 15 year old boy cracked me up. And may I add that I love Voice Over on my iTouch? Especially for reading books. The app called iBooks is the best!

I love that play! So fun. I also love hearing your random day to day experiences. I bet that mom did love meeting you - I'm sure you gave her so much hope for her son. And you know my advice on the clothes! Get rid of them! My rule with clothes is always that if I didn't wear them last season chances are I won't wear them the next one!

Mandy and Saxon - funny - reminds me Cricket needs hers trimmed.
Erin J- good to know - thanks!
Erin - wise advice. I think I hang on to things a little longer than need to.
Wendy - how fun to have them in the production ... love it. Yes, Cricket knows her way around the grocery store. Should I be concerned that she stops at the candy aisle, knows where the diet coke is :).

I've been meaning to tear into my closet & start switching over but just can't bring myself to do it. I think I've caught a case of the lazy bug :)
