Shopping finds. Retinitis Pigmentosa

Steve and I have shopped together for 28 years - one of our first dates was near Halloween. He was 'just a friend' and I was telling him I was really tired of going on dates to Haunted Houses! He was going grocery shopping and asked if I wanted to go with him - yes! We've been having fun ever since shopping together. He's a great sport and will describe and help me find anything. Anyone else love the Halloween candy? My favorites Reese's and Peeps and also fit the prescription from the dentist to avoid hard candy after my broken tooth. My favorite healthy treat - Atkins Protein Bar - almond/blueberry. On the days when I go running, I find by 10 I get really hungry and they give me a boost.

My other shopping treasures for the week: my new purple tee from Guide Dogs for the Blind Gift Shop.  Awesome raised braille.  Capital T ea m  of Capital T w o

and this very special gold pin that says GDB (above the harness) and then in braille team.

My other shopping find of the week is my red cover with a keyboard for my ipad.  Love it.  Still learning the voice over.

That picture of you and Cricket is so sweet! :) I'm not sure if your local Starbucks has them, but now they have gift cards that are in braille. I'm not sure what they say (I'm assuming Starbucks?) :)
