A session with Cricket

Clients will say ... oh, if Cricket could talk. She hears much in a day! She spends most sessions on her bed or sometimes sitting nearby the client if they invite her to do so.   Generally, in my office her harness is off. She became a nice distraction for a young client who was working through some super tough stuff. As we began, Cricket did her attempt to fluff up her bed. My client asked if she could snap a picture when Cricket was - what we decided was 'feeling frustrated'. (Cricket helps demonstrate feelings). So, when she started, we pulled out the camera. Cricket has posed a few too many times for the camera and stopped trying to fluff her bed and turned to pose when she saw the camera!
A few minutes later we caught her in the act of trying to fluff her bed and stopped our discussion to take a quick picture.
And, a few minutes later we have contented Cricket for the rest of the session.
Most of the time she is not on tie down.  Sometimes when the office is super busy with several therapists, I will tie her down to keep her from being the office greeter - which she loves to do.  Today was a busy Monday.

Cricket and I love our work at Resilient Solutions, Inc.

I love the photo of Cricket fluffing her bed! She looks so cute rolled up in a circle, too. I think a dog is a must-have for any therapy office.

Cricket is so special. I wish my Leroy could absorb some of her best qualities, like obedience.

Oh, what a wonderful model. How special for each of your clients. She's an amazing pup - with so many duties she does with such love. Good girl Cricket!
