This morning as I was watering the flowers - Cricket and I had a nose to nose opportunity. Sometimes it hits me so profoundly how this sweet dog is blessing my life. Perhaps part of the sweetness is I think she doesn't even realize its just who she is. Love her.
Yesterday my friend and I ran a 5K -- Remembering Trudi, who was hit on this route 4 1/2 years ago. I reflected on her life and grateful for the influence that she has had on mine. Once again I was touched by a friend's willingness to be my eyes and give me the chance to run. Lisa was an amazing guide runner. First time and I hope there are more times! THANK YOU, Lisa!
This 9/11 I am grateful that we will be around much family and will pause to reflect and tell them each how much I love and appreciate them. Also, we will miss Natalie and Adam that won't be with us on this day.
Grateful also for an awesome dentist that fixed my tooth. As I left, he smiled and told me to watch out for large statues!

Woof! Woof! Great to be with family ... remembering the tragic 9/11 events. We have a book review in honor of 9/11: Thunder Dog (not sure if you are familiar with the book, Michael and his guide dog). Check it out! Lots of Golden LOVE n Woofs, Sugar
I'm glad you found a friend to run with you! And I hope your poor tooth is okay. Looking forward to seeing you next week!
