Another Mountain Climbed

These men that I love hiked to the top of Mt. Elbert this past week (second tallest mt in the lower 48). I especially enjoyed the phone call knowing they were safe and back in the car :) for the next day of a river trip.  Both activities Cricket and I wholeheartedly support while staying at home having girl time.
Many analogies can be drawn as a father and son traverse the mountain. Talk of Whitney, the highest peak of the lower 48, is next ... with an invite for the family!?  Hmmm.... is there shopping at 'base camp'   Natalie?

Congratulations, I'd always thought that one should wear warm clothes since standing on such a high place, you know, it is much colder.

Wow, the view looks amazing! Wish Steve & I could have joined them. On second thought, I doubt we could have made it all the way.

That is some MOUNTAIN climbing! Wow, how spectacular! I love Kendall's sign with the pictorial of the mountains--too funny. And of course, I love his sweatshirt, too!
