True Amazingness

The SLC 1/2 Marathon was today. Good luck kisses from Cricket and Steve and we were off.
Our first 1/2 in January in St. George was amazing. We ran 13.1 miles in stride with each other. This run was to be the next level in many ways. I feel so insync with my dear friend and running guide Shannon . It truly was amazing how we just lifted each other up when we needed it on this run. We improved our time by 20 plus minutes, navigated through the crowds, and put our whole heart into this run.
Running into the Gateway area with people on both sides cheering for you is true amazingness. It was an exhilerating experience in so many ways. Many life analogies to take from a run. For now, I am relishing in the joy of having a dear friend to enjoy this experience and a healthy body that gave me this privilege today.

Congratulations! What a super time improvement - you must be so jazzed.

I'm looking at the St George marathon - another wheelchair racer recommends it, and of course all that downhill is great for us.

Hi there Becky,
Congratulations on your run...
What a blessing it must be to have such wonderful friends who pace life with you. You really are blessed!
I read your last post (about 'Life') with great interest. I thought you might be interested in a post which I put up for 'Max' last year about 'Life Lessons'...
During his struggle with Cancer, I desperately tried to blog - positivity.
Here is the link to one of the 'Life lesson' posts on Max's blog:

I hope it uplifts you too.

I have a few friends (including You) who ran in that race. I bet it would be a really rewarding feeling.
The kinda "hurt so good" that comes with accomplishment.
