Still Running
I was up and anticipating Shannon's knock on the door at the early hour of 6:50 a.m. (Read her funny story on her blog after our Monday run.) Cricket seemed to feel my energy and also was so excited when she arrived. We ran four miles today! I am loving this experience both the running and the joy of spending time with a friend. It is joy and then hunger sets in a few hours later. I'm learning. Looking forward to a couple runs this weekend with Steve. The 1/2 marathon is 6 1/2 weeks away! Meeting a dear friend at Gateway on Thursday afternoon. It is a little complicated for us to get together for lunch. Two women, who are blind, living on opposite ends of the valley. Creativity and strong desire = a long lunch scheduled to laugh and get caught up with life.

Yay I'm so excited for you! You're doing fantastic and I'm so glad you're enjoying the runs and that you've got a friend to do it with.

Shannon's post cracked me up! I love that you're having so much fun running. That's super!
Have a fun lunch with your friend. Although I can still drive during the day and therefore lack the awesome excuse of not driving, I still can't seem to get together with friends. I need some of your willpower I guess. :)
You are amazing! Running and lunch with friends... life is good. :)
Live life to the Max, Becky! That's my motto too...

Don't have friends who live nearby, but I sure like the idea of having a long lunch with some really good friends of mine. :)
Eating is a great reward for running!
