A Happy Cricket Day

Today I had an 11-hour work day so I was a little worried about Cricket. (The time flies by for me.) However, I have a very happy Cricket girl sitting by my feet at this moment. She'd like to share her day. Knowing I would be in my chair for a long period, it seemed a great day for Cricket to go to the groomer. Steve was able to pick her up at my office and take her midday. He dropped her off a couple hours later. She was so happy and smelled so great when she returned. My clients that came while she was away asked about her. The office felt like a VIP was missing.   By the time she had her dinner break and a session with kids that enjoy sharing with her, the day was near complete.  We came home to a very early birthday present (a new camera, xoxo Steve). The birthday isn't for two more weeks but let the celebration begin :). I received my first birthday card from Famous Footwear Shoes. Cricket's special prize from Milk-Bone thanks to My Little Rays of Sunshine arrived today. Cricket is a very happy girl. Me, too.

How fun for Cricket to get some extra pampering! What a great idea. Steve is quick with those presents--gotta love a man who shops!

Cricket looks quite jaunty in her Milkbone scarf. What kind of camera did you get?

RD: Camera is a Canon PowerShot! Love it - so easy to use. Love it. Cricket was a little frustrated about the photo. Can we get on with it and get the treat!

Mimi - Yes, he is an awesome shopper. He also found me a new phone that is more blind friendly.

Maxmom - Birthday not til the 15th ... just stretching it out :).

Glad Cricket had a nice day and you got your yearned for camera.

I owe Cricket an apology. I have been thinking she's a boy. Sorry Cricket, how could I have made such a mistake when you're such a pretty girl. You and my Daisy would make great friends.
