I Appreciate

A friend who gave me a sweet poem about our Missy pug and also included a copy of the poem in braille! Wow. I walk by it (still working on just the right special place) on the shelf and think of her. Thank you so much, Katie. I will have the students assist me in reading it tomorrow. I can slooooooowly read the poem in braille.

The Change of Seasons. Winter is my least favorite but there are aspects that I enjoy. I will nest, bake (a little), slow down (a little), and take indoors a special statue. (My kids refer to this as them bronzed.)

Running this morning. Steve and I ran 3.5 miles. Before we left, I wanted to just stay in bed. Now, that we are back I'm energized and ready to take on my day which includes working this evening as well as tomorrow, sigh, however I appreciate

a job in this challenging economy. I am grateful that our office is busy and thriving. (Note: I am also sorry that people are hurting and need our office, but grateful our office is there.)

Yoga in the morning.

Wishing each of you a great Friday and a Happy Weekend.

Mirage and I are flying through SLC on Saturday en route to Omaha, to care for my dad.
Another close call for us to meet. Like two ships passing in the night.Close only counts in horse shoes and bocce!

How do you like doing yoga in the mornings? And it sounds like you had a great run!

Elisse: I love yoga on Saturday mornings. I also go an evening or two after work. It is a different experience at the start of the day than the end of the day!
