Ready for Monday

We had a delightful time in St. George this past weekend. I have a new favorite. My belt purse from Sheekoo .  I love it for so many reasons. I can walk hands free and have my phone, camera, credit card, identification and even a place for a little treat for Cricket. This is going to be so handy for walks with Cricket. This may just help me keep track of my phone easier, too.  Check out her beautiful site.
We biked and explored.  We love all the biking trails in St. George.  Steve kept saying our ride felt  like Alice in Wonderland as we had no destination just rode around and around.  It was so much fun.  The miles were ticking helping us get to our 1300 mile goal (not there yet).
We saw the movie Secretariat.  Loved it.  Such a feel good movie and not too much suspense as you knew it was going to turn out well. After the movie Steve noticed the Dixie rock was lit near where we had biked that day.  I kept saying where, where, where.  He said, we are going to drive you up there while you have some light perception so you can see it.  Sometimes I blow things off that I can't see -- ie, its okay no big deal.  But, it become an adventure to get to where this light was ... we did!
With our bike rides and such our timing was off and so I missed my coconut cupcake at 25 Main.  Next time, I hope.  Pancake with raspberries and granola at Eggs and I with a peppermint hot chocolate was a yummy treat with mom and dad.  And, mom's yummy tomatoes fresh from their garden were a delicious treat, too.
Energized and ready for another week.

Oh!! Now I'm homesick!! I'm so missing that beautiful area! I was just telling Rob we haven't been down there for 6 months!! I think it may be the longest I've been away. I would LOVE a 25 Main cupcake too!
Glad you had a great time!

Hey there Becky

It sounds like you had the perfect weekend! ...except for the coconute cupcake. :)

Please would you allow me to make a suggestion... Would it be possible to explain, at some stage, how much you are able to actually see...perhaps a blog post?...
I would be so interested in your experiences. Please also include how much of our/my posts you are able to see/read and what bloggers can do to assist you - if we can.
(I find I am trying to describe more - in my narration - assuming, perhaps wrongly, that pictures might be a problem for you.) I am so ignorant about your disability and would love it if my blog was more 'user-friendly' for folk who have retinitis pigmentosa.
Sending lotsaluv
