The journeys of Becky, blind from retinitis pigmentosa, and her beauitiful guide dogs.
My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Fun Surprise
When we were in San Rafael to the GDB Homecoming we learned that Cricket, Natalie and I were in the 2011 Guide Dog Calendar! Fun. I love their gift shop . Adorable Cabana is featured in May! Others that you know?
You are most worthy subjects in that calendar! The picture of the three of you is beautiful! Sending lotsaluv to you all...in these really early days of adaptation. Live Strong and live life to the Max! MAXMOM IN SOUTH AFRICA

I got mine in the mail last night and saw several pups with blogs! It's fun to have them up and be reminded of friends all year long!!
Enjoy your 15 minutes of fame...and deal with the people crawling out of the woodwork to hit you up for some money. ;)
