Cycling the Golden Gate Bridge

After the Guide Dogs for the Blind Homecoming Celebration which included approximately 80 guide dogs and 170 people at the evening dinner, we spent some fun time experiencing the Golden Gate Bridge. Sunday Cricket spent the day at Guide Dogs for the Blind Kennel so we could enjoy our cycling adventure. (Thank you, GDB.  They are incredible.) I was worried about leaving her, but in Cricket form she happily left with the trainer not even looking back.  She did have a chance to experience the bridge the next day at this lookout point.
Biking across the Golden Gate Bridge is AWESOME! This time it was really special because we had Natalie and Adam join us as well as friends, Steve and Debi. We all rode tandems. It was so much fun. We cycled to Sausalito.

We earned the t-shirt.

and the yummy dessert from Ghiradellis.

If you want to feel really blind, leave your guide dog at campus for the day!  After a wonderful day, Cricket and I greeted each other very happily at the end of the day.   Natalie and Adam flew home Sunday evening.
