That's What its all About

We returned from our vacation a few hours ago.  Laundry is started, having that in the background helps me feel productive when I am on the computer :)  As Steve, Cricket  and I walked through the airport to various families with signs waiting for loved ones to return, we commented  'that's what its all about.'  (We had been singing the Hokey Pokey Song.)

Delightful conference, super fun time with family and friends ... more to follow.

What fun photos! I like getting my ducks in a row soon after I get home from vacation, too. Can't wait to hear more about your time down here!

What a nice message to take from seeing all those signs at the airprot. You're right: connecting with family (and friends) *is* what it's all abot. On that subject, thank you so much for commenting to my post about my mom. Especially appreciate the comment now that I read you just got home from vacation, so many other things to do but you took the time to comment there --thanks! And as for your comment there, I know you are a counselor, too — is it common to compare major life-alternating events like that to adolescence? Just curious.

Mimi; Agree. Glad the weekend is coming!

Beth; I love that analogy. I think analogies that we can relate to are very helpful in looking at our life altering changes. I had never thought of the adolescent phase in that sense but it makes so much sense!

Thanks Myrna. Indeed a wonderful vacay.
