Today a pre-teen client and I had our walk over to Arctic Circle. Cricket is generally off harness when she comes into our office so she was very excited to get to see her 'put her saddle' on. She was so impressed to realize Cricket knew her left and right. Some students were on the sidewalk in front of us and my client noticed that Cricket slowed down and adjusted her pace so that we continued walking and didn't run into them. There wasn't enough room for Cricket to pass them and still stay on the sidewalk so she simply slowed down. I am so glad the sidewalk in this picture is completed so there isn't a big hole we have to work our way around anymore.
Dear Cricket, We stroll around and this morning you reminded me once again how you are keeping me safe! THANK YOU, THANK YOU for pulling back as we crossed main street this morning. A lady ran the red light as she turned right. In my mind as you pulled back quickly I wondered what you were doing stopping in the middle of a crosswalk. I trusted you and as the car zoomed through I was reminded of how your focus each day is to keep me safe. LOVE you, Cricker girl.
