Turtle Bay

We had been told there is a turtle in this pond. Knowing this has added excitement to the Legacy Trail. We named the area, Turtle Bay and hoped he would be waiting for us. Finally, Monday morning on an early ride he was there on this board! We stopped and enjoyed the moment. Steve giving me a play by play of his antics - he left the board, swam around then moved the grass. It was a great way to start the week. This morning we hoped to have a repeat experience and he was underneath the water, but not ready to come hang out on the board.

Sounds so fun! Turtles are interesting creatures. Nothing like getting out in the great outdoors & feeling the wind on your face...you & Steve are quite a team!

Ever since I swam with the turtles in Hawaii, I am crazy about turtles. It brings back fond memories of a wonderful vacation.

How fun - I posted this just before we left for our evening bike ride and came back and had three comments.

Debi - yes, we pretend its Hawaii. Your vacation sounded amazing with the turtles.

Murray loves turtles so much! We were up at his riding stable this afternoon for a competition and we took some time out to go look in the ponds there and count the turtles! Murray would love to bring one home!

take care
