Lovely

If you are looking for nice and affordable accomodations in San Diego, I love this hotel: Town and Country. The convenience with a guide dog is wonderful - you open your door to grass. (It is so nice to not have to go down 17 floors and out through the hotel lobby at 7 am to take your guide out to 'do business.') The first time we stayed at this hotel three years ago, they charged us a $75 pet fee. We tried to educate them at the time but we were not successful and had a plane to catch. Adam followed up and educated them re: Guide Dogs and the Americans with Disabilities Act. They were nice and credited our account. This time I emailed them that I was coming with a guide dog and requested one of their main level rooms. A lovely room was waiting for us. Lovely. So appreciate the kindness of people and their willingness to become educated.

Wendy - yes, San Diego is one of our favorites with our daughter/son in law living there.
