Take Me out to the Ballgame

We were able to go to a Kansas City Royals/Boston Red Sox game while we were in KC. It was a beautiful night and Steve was great to give me play by play (when I was interested). Also, loved the chance to just sit and enjoy. Our KC Royals (our team for the evening) lost 8-3 but it was still fun.
We had great seats where Cricket had room to have her rug. She just feels more secure with this rug nearby.
I found myself thinking this is so joyful! As the national anthem was sung, as always felt goosebumps and just so grateful to live in this beautiful land. (I also was happy that Cricket was not phased by the small 'bombs burstin in air' noise they made).

It is exciting to be in a stadium full of people, isn't it? How nice that Cricket got to have her own soft spot. Looks like it was a beautiful day.

I think it would be so cool to go to a professional major league baseball game.
I don't really have a forvorite team.
I went to a pro football game once.

hope you got some good stadium food

Indeed - beautiful evening at the ballpark, Mimi. Yes, the room for Cricket was fabulous. I can enjoy so much more when I know she is comfy. Wendy - I haven't been to a pro football game before - Steve and Kendall did and enjoyed. Oh your discussing the food makes me realize have had yummy food at ballparks before ... had a slice of pizza that was 'okay'.

Oh cool!! I hear alot about how good that stadium is for pups and working dogs, glad you had fun (when interested lol) Looks like it was a good, clear day for a game of the all-American sport!

Glad you got to visit the refurbished stadium! Welcome to a Royal's game, it's not really a Royals game unless they lose! :D

Sarah - yes they were very nice and helpful there. Lisa - the night before they won! It was very fun.
