One tired shopper, two happy shoppers

I've been looking forward to this day all week. After yoga, my friend Christy and I went shopping. I was in need of some brown spring casual shoes and she needed a watch. We planned to enjoy a little time to shop, a light lunch and be home early afternooon. Earlier in the week with the optimistic weather forecast, Steve and I were hoping the afternoon would lead to a bike ride. It was snowing today so those plans were changed and so ... our shopping time became all day. Wandering around stores, stopping periodically to just sit and visit, a little lunch, walking more = a tired shopper who now seems to be recuperating in the closet. I tell her, Cricker girl we are going out tonight.
Have you tasted a chocolate dipped raspberry before? Such a heavenly treat! Ann Taylor Loft was having a Customer Appreciation Sale including cute water bottles and chocolates. Such a party ... even Cricket received a water bottle and was happy for the drink. As Cricket might say - my handler seemed to have gotten a little involved in her girl time and forgot that dinner time was an hour late! Sigh. Another shopper asked us if Cricket wore her harness 24/7 ... we explained that Cricket had plenty of time to relax and play and that she actually loved her job ... even shopping with the girls.

Sorry, but I had to chuckle at the other shopper's question about Cricket wearing her harness all the time! Sweet Cricket, having some downtime in the closet. I hope she enjoyed her dinner, even if it was a bit late!
