In & Out

This morning as I pulled back out my black boots and found a clip for my hair was reflecting on life. I had declared I was done with winter and boxed up my boots and winter clothing ... we had a big storm this week and after a partial day of spring yard work we are back with our yard covered in snow. Thus. pull back out the boots atleast with a pink coat to reflect spring time colors.  It seems walking through puddles in boots is better than fighting it and wearing spring heels. I had thought I was done with longer hair - my hair is back a little longer and so smiled as I searched for my bag of hair clips today.  After grocery shopping yesterday and looking at the $ spent and wondering what do I have to fix for a meal ... going back to the days of making a more organized list.  As a mom with younger kids I had a driver and she used to love my list because she could go to the store and it was written out in the order of where she would find things on each aisle. Its time to put a little more of that organization back in my life.   Learned that one of our dear neighbors from our last neighborhood has moved into our neighborhood here ... how fun!  We will enjoy baking cookies and going for a visit.  We move back and forward through life it seems. I am hoping by the end of the week when I have some time on Thursday that the snow will once again be gone and I can dig in the dirt. My heart and body need to be cleaning, cultivating, and planting right now. Cricket also is yearning to get her little run in the park. Yesterday she stood by the door with her sad eyes as if to say - please can we go outside and play.

Sorry you got more snow! The pink coat feels spring-like at least. Hope spring weather comes for you soon! They're already selling tomato plants at the hardware stores here--I think it's way too early for that!

Toby PR: Thanks ... I love this skirt.
Mimi - Oh, that sounds delightful. I want to get in a little garden this year - tomato plants are on the list but it will be awhile here.

At least you look cute, even with snow on the ground. Please don't send the snow here though! We've had enough! :D Hope it warms up soon for you and you can enjoy getting your hands dirty for some lovely spring flowers!

Lisa - yes, I am so done with winter! We will be in KC next month. Hope it is spring like then too (and hope we can make a visit together happen)
