Smile

Those with a guide or a puppy in training know we get many questions. Today at the grocery store as we were approaching the line to check out two different clerks came up to us and said - oh he's so cute, how old is he, what's his name? Cricket is a she so Steve's response was -- Thank you, My name is Steve and I'm 51! They laughed and then we did answer what they really wanted to know -- Her name is Cricket and she's 4 and yes, she is very cute!

I am sure you get asked those things over and over and over. Funny comeback by your hubby.

Hahaha... that's a great answer! We get the "he" thing a lot too, but it's usually just Willow and me, so that response wouldn't work for us.

It's funny how people assume most labs are male, huh? Steve's answer was definitely very quick and witty!
