Monday Missy Update

Well, Missy seems to be a popular old little pug! I just received an email asking for her Monday post. Missy is loving her new food and really I think it has perked her up. She is active and seems to be back involved in the coming and goings of our lives. Her appetite has improved and hopefully she has put on a few pounds. She seems content with her slow pace life and understands she's just not going to find the crumbs on the floor anymore or run to the door to greet a guest. She does still have the spunk to come in our bedroom and take Cricket's bed. I admire Missy's determination (after 13 years with a big dog(s) in the house. I don't want her to bully Cricket. Is she? Cricket seems resigned that Missy is going to do what she wants to do including sauntering in to her bed and making a place for herself at times.

As our pets age, it is so important to keep them eating. It helps their energy level & I think it perks them up & helps them to continue to enjoy life. I am feeding our senior cat a variety of cat foods, plus tuna,& baby food. Anything to keep her from loosing any additional weight. We have noticed it's helping her to keep a steady gait & not tumble over on to the floor. Her strength continues to improve & we are thrilled!! She is eating 6-7 mini meals each day & she seems to love the new meal plan.
