Who Knew?

Yesterday I was dancing to Christmas music (yes it occurs often around here and one of the reasons I love our hardwood floor) when I asked Steve what is Parson Brown (think winter wonderland -) he told me it was a minister. I listened to the story again and suddenly got the song! I've shared this little knowledge and realize I'm not the only one just getting it.

We were out with friends Friday night and they mentioned Bible Street as a place to visit during Christmas. We had never heard of it. It has been a tradition on this street for over 50 years! Tonight we went to pick up some other friends for dinner and learned they lived on 'Bible Street' and had helped set it up earlier today! It is a beautiful street in the Sugarhouse area that has the Christmas Story so it is referred to bible street just west of Christmas Street! We drove real slow and read each verse - a verse from the Bible and a picture is in front of each house in the area. Loved it -- excited to take our kids there when they are all in town with the promise from our friends for hot chocolate afterwards.

What a neat idea for a neighborhood to do!
