Picking Up the Pieces

I love my Amaryllis that is growing by the day. I think its big pretty flowers are going to be ready by Christmas. To me, it is a resilient flower thriving with very little water and surrounded by these rocks. Next to the amaryllis is my angel of courage - amazingly glued back together by Steve. He seems to always pick up the pieces for me. Today I am celebrating all the Love in my life. What a blessing indeed.

Did anyone happen to see 'Aunt Clara' on Extreme Home Makeover Sunday night? Share who is that someone that seems to 'pick up the pieces' for you in your life.

I think my whole family is great about helping me pick up the pieces. Usually, "the pieces" are when I've had a bad day, or feel unsure of myself. When I first started my own business a couple years ago (which was really scary to me), my husband and daughters gave me a card that says, "Just want you to know you have a cheering section...and we're in the front row." I keep that card next to my desk, and it never fails to boost my spirits!

Oh Mimi - that is such a sweet story. Sounds like you have a wonderful cheering section.

What would I do without your Dad. When things get kind of troubling and I worry as a Mother does, he is there - calm and caring. I think he has given that reassurance to his children, grand children and now greats. Best of wishes today on the surgery.
