We enjoyed having all my family (except dad and mom who are in St. George on a mission)for our family Christmas party. A little sledding by cousins happened before dinner. (Picture below is Natalie, Alexis, and Kourtney)
Cricket (and all of us)welcomed Adam, Natalie & Dahlia for the week
Missy doesn't have the energy to play but seems to enjoy having a dog her size around.
The holidays seem more complete as we see more people that we love! Yes, this mom is so happy to have us all together. Almost as soon as they arrived we began working on a gift we were preparing for my family. Thanks to Natalie staying up til 5 am, it came together and was a special treat. (I won't go into details, some haven't seen it yet). I enjoy baking for a party and threw together a few of my favorites including Julie's Salsa:
15 - oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained
15 oz. can corn, drained
1 bunch onions finely sliced
chopped cilantro to taste
2 avocados chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian Dressing (made according to pkg directions
Mix together and chill. Serve with chips. I don't get to see Julie as often as I'd like - she stopped by prior to our party and so fun to get to say hi and tell her we were making her salsa for our party. Yummy food and I did freeze some of the goodies to enjoy next month when I can eat crunchy, yummy goodies. Missy is off to the vet to have her annual check-up - we hope she gets a good report for a sweet 14 year old pug.

Hey Becky, I sent you an invite for my blog, I hope you got it! If not, feel free to email me at stanleychica_c@hotmail.com and I'll invite you that way!
Dahlia and Missy are so cute together! I hope you are recovering okay from your dental surgery. Must be hard to make salsa when you can't eat any of it. :(
Thanks, Toby. Missy is losing some weight but overall doing well.
Coreena, yes thank you.
Mimi - yes, missing food but finding many ways to have liquid chocolate.
