Just another (special) day ...
September 17 is a day that stands out to me... 12 years ago on this day, I took my first walk with my guide dog (Pantera). Guide Dogs for the Blind has been an amazing blessing in my life. Today, as I hurriedly left one office to cross the street to my other office, I was on the phone with a new client. (She was not even aware that I was blind and walking with a guide dog --no reason to) until we were stopped at a corner and I whispered (I thought) Cricket forward. Upon which time this new client said ... forward, yes you are right I am ready to move forward in my life -- when can I schedule an appointment!

Haha. nice post. I've only had OJ for two years. Hard to imagine what I'll be doing in 10 years time. Its a scarey thought.
Awww, that is a very special day! Happy guide dog anniversary! :-)
It's funny, I was just telling someone yesterday how I'll never forget my first walk with Willow....
Jennifer & L; Yes, you can relate to what its like to pick up that harness and GO!!
