Purse Giveaway

Fortunately, most people that ask to pet my guide dog are so nice when you say - she is working and needs to focus on her job. My frustration: When I am in the middle of walking someplace, someone asks if they can pet my guide, I explain that she is working and so petting her would be a distraction to her work and they get upset with me! Recently, (this is rare, fortunately) I politely told a lady no her daughter could not pet Cricket (we were walking in a really busy area) and she got so upset with me and informed me: You are so rude. I can't believe you won't let my daughter pet your dog! I know they simply don't understand how important it is while the harness is up for her to stay focused on her task of guiding me safely.
