Simply Grateful

Today was a beautiful day and I have been reflecting on not taking blessings 'for granted'. Some recent reminders: My membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day SaintsWe have had a great friend of ours for 20 plus years who was baptized and confirmed today. As he shared his heartfelt testimony, I was reminded how grateful I am to have this blessing and guidance in my life. Hearing his words of gratitude brought tears to my eyes.

I have a friend who recently became a mother through the long adoption process. Following their journey and the joy they are experiencing has been so touching. Each post on her blog brings tears to my eyes. I have also pondered and reflected on the joys and blessings of motherhood and gratitude again has filled my heart as I think about the blessings of our two children ... can I say three (I love my son-in-law like our own). They came easily so I can't imagine the longing and hoping for children, but so grateful for them.

Happiness is a form of gratitude. Heidi Wills

I indeed feel happy and grateful today.

With Culver's future unknown, I am grateful & happy for each day we have with him. It reminds us to take time each day to love & pet all our fur babies. They bring us such joy & happiness. I am grateful too that Steve shares in this incredible journey of life with me. I am truly blessed.

Yes, we are so incredibly blessed to have the gospel in our lives....I don't know how anyone survives without the knowledge we have.
I'm so happy for Paul and so grateful that you introduced us to them.
