Simple Weekend

This weekend was just what I needed - after a really hectic work week, the weekend has been simply splendid. Saturday morning - Steve and Kendall ran the USU 5K ... Go Aggies! Cricket and I enjoyed yoga with Connie! (thought of you, Nat) So fun - felt great. Then, loved digging in the dirt and getting many of the flowers planted. (Hopefully just one more trip to the nursery, Steve). Date night with Steve which included a return to Ann Taylor and somehow I came home with three shirts from Express - my kind of math! Sunday included a beautiful conference this morning and a walk with Cricket (we worked with the clicker and she loved it!). Steve and I just returned from a fun 20 mile bike ride - great new route we found.

As you can see, part of the week included a haircut - love its simplicity - its similar to the style I had when I broke both my arms and Steve was in charge of doing my hair!

Chapter 2 from my new book: Secrets of Simplicity asks the question: Do I find time to get out and enjoy nature? Felt great as this weekend I can say yes! What did you do this weekend to energize you for the week to come?

We went on a short hike out in the Gorge. With our new little addition, Culver, we're getting him introduced to the trails of Oregon.
By the way, LOVE your new haircut.

That is a really cute cut. It makes you look so different! And that skirt is so cute to with that ruffle on the bottom. You're looking all sassy. :)
