My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

It was warmer today. Its all relative -- the 40's felt so warm! Grass is beginning to peek out and the sidewalks are clear. So nice! Its the little things in life, that bring us joy.
Cricket and I were able to go for a nice long walk today - felt great and she did SO good. Love this girl and will never cease to appreciate the joy and freedom of walking with a guide dog.

Hey Becky!

That is a GREAT shot of you two on the main page. You make a good couple. : )

I think of you often, and love that I can always check up on you two here. But, I'm the worst at keeping in touch...trying to be better though.

We got a new doggie! A 7 year old black lab from the Humane Society. Her name is Maggie and she loves Brennan. But I sure miss walking with Cricket! Maggie was never trained properly, she's 80 lbs. and pulls us...she's getting better though. I'm using my guide puppy techniques on her...they help...but I fear it's a lost cause. She's so sweet though. A real lover and she loves Brennan a lot...though Brennan did feed her a bar of soap yesterday. Yikes!

Keep up the great blog and have a wonderful day!

I can see snow on the mountains in the back ground. Glad you had a nice warm day. Of course, 40 isn't that warm to me. I like the 70's.
